Hello Everyone 

hope you all had an amazing season off and welcome back to a much better year than previous!

this year we will have stirling from act helping out when he can with umpire meetings etc when I need a hand, so we are holding so far 2 meetings before the season starts.

FIRST IS NXT SATURDAY THE 12TH OF FEBRUARY

this will cover as below

1. An introduction to umpiring and the rules of hockey

2. What’s new in 2022? New rules and recapping current application of crucial rules.

3. HACT Pathways for officials.

We will be holding these sessions from 10 am – 11 am (!)

11.15 am to 12.15 pm (2)

12.30 pm to 1 pm (3)

Times are approx but start time will be 10 am.

I really hope to see as many people as possible there CLUBS can you pass this around to all members and players get the word out there, please.

This year we will be looking for 2 umpires on each rep side that goes to comps as well ill prob be trying to go to most comps if I can and will be looking at taking up a small team of us, more umpires we have with the training and experience the better the game will be 

and we need 6 to 8 umpires who can do capital league, I’m hoping for 4 ladies to join the team and 4 men, we will also do a couple of trips to act every so often to help improve our standards of umpiring, let me know asap if u would like to do cap league 

hope to see a decent turnout as we will also be having another meeting on the 5th of march but no agenda for this yet
