The Norths Hockey Club was formed in 1984 with A and C Grade Women and U15 Girls. Norths have always had the Royal Blue and White colours, because the founders Julie Twitt and Ray Blezard were passionate North Melbourne supporters and both teachers at North Albury High School.
In 1999 Norths and Albury City Hockey merged with City bringing A and B Grade Men’s teams to the existing Norths complement. The uniform changed to include a yellow stripe to the shirt which slowly faded out and the existing blue and white colours came back to the fore.
In 2006 the uniform changed again and the current shirts were developed and put into production.
