Hi all,
The Director of Umpires has advised that this year there will be a fine for clubs who fail to supply an umpire for a home team appointment. This also applies to Division 1 umpires who have been nominated by their club for the roster.
You will receive a warning for the first instance where you fail to supply but post that, there will be a fine of $50 for each game where your umpire does not turn up.

These are paid positions ($25 per hour) that require a WWC and we would prefer you had a community coaching certificate

Dear Clubs,
First 4 rds of Division 2 and 3 have been released.
Div1 is released in its entirety, please note weekend of Wodongas club day Sunday 7/5/17 games against Wodonga are being played at Wodonga.
I need to rethink some scheduling of juniors which will also alter the rest of division 3 games. I aim to have this done by the end of the week but will release rds 1 and 2 of juniors in the next couple of days.
Clubs need to be aware results need to be in Onesport within 3days of the completion otherwise you will be locked out and need to contact Cayte to enter them.
Clubs with under 9s Please note correction for Under 9s/10s.
U10s will officially start 22/4/17
Under 10/9 comp will play at 945 every week games at Wodonga (half the teams) will be 13/5/17, and 5/8/17
Games at Beechworth all teams 27th May and 15th July will start at 10am.

This Clinic is to cover simple to specialist skills with in a hockey game. It looks to challenge the way your child thinks and give them different solutions in different situations. Is based around a progression of developing closed skills and then taking them into small games, then bigger games. 4 days of fun and learning, with morning tea, lunch and drinks provided by a leading chef and personal trainer. There are specialised presenters from Strength and Conditioning coaches, injury management to nutrition, and whilst all this is being a safe interactive and enjoyable environment!!
It runs from 10th of April to 13th of April from 8.30am to 3.30pm and is aimed at those in Year 6 through to Year 12

These modules are designed to assist all levels with umpiring. The modules focus on becoming a better umpire for the enjoyment of all involved.
So far we have about 6 for the above course. We require a few more to make it viable.
