Please find the below message from ACT Women’s Masters and the upcoming National Masters Women’s Championship.
Hi all,
Congratulations, you are old enough to play Masters hockey for the ACT.
We are calling for nominations for players to play with the ACT teams to attend the National Masters Women’s Championship to be held in Cairns on 21st September to 1st October 2022.
This will be the first full championships since 2019 so we are excited to send as many teams as possible. This year there is the potential for an additional age group for the 70+. The teams ACT send will be dependent on the nominations received by 30th April.

Cairns Event details
- ACT Commitment: Plan for 19 September – 1 October (TBC).
- Cost: Approximately $2000-2500 per person (this covers team entry, training in Cairns, accommodation, travel while in Cairns and incidentals)
- Uniform: In 2022 we will be wearing a new O’Neils strip and all players will need to purchase this.
- Accommodation: Trinity Beach (TBC)
