CL Spitfires Player nomination

Hello all clubs,

Our nominations for CL Spitfires have to be in on 7 January.  We still need more players for our Womens team.

Please send this out to all your eligible members who might be interested and have them nominate on this link.

I will also be reposting on Facebook – so if you can share that on your club pages that would be great.

Spitfire people – if you could share on your sites please.

Please be aware if there are insufficient numbers for the womens team they will not be entered into the Capital League competition, so if you are hoping to play but have not yet made yourself known, make sure you have registered your interest here: https://forms.gle/LjwoEdkesL2T8BuL7

2019 Finals Results – U14 Scots/Norths

Great game today for our U14 Scot/Norths girls they played their hearts out and put up a strong fight against last yrs premier’s Magpies.

Unfortunately it wasn’t our day losing 2-1.

Thank you to everyone who came down early to watch and cheer our girls on.

Coach is extremely proud of these girls and would like to acknowledge how much they have improved throughout the season.

This year has been an excellent year for Norths – and the results from Hockey Albury Wodonga’s Best and Fairest certainly prove it. Here they are:

Division 3 Women – Winner Tahlia Hicks!

Division 3 Men – 3rd Scott Sippel!

Division 2 Women – Equal Winner – Madeline Poulton!

Division 2 Men – Top 10 Scott Sippel and Amila Maddegoda

Division 1 Women – Winner Kate Reynolds!

Division 1 Men – 4th Larry Simpson, with Ian Beath and Oscar Smart in the top 10.

2019 Grand Finals Update – Norths to shine in 7 games!

Congratulations to all teams this year in their hard work and achievements. The big news is 7 teams in the finals this weekend after the A Grade Men and B Grade Women smashed their respective opponents in the Preliminary finals on Sunday to book their place on the big weekend. See below for the times and let’s get around all the teams as they begin their quest for the ultimate glory!
