HAW Senior B&F Flo Joynson Award and full details

Subject: Senior Best and fairest

Hi all clubs,

I have attached a pdf for the results of all the Best and fairest counts from last night.

There were a few anomalies which I have fixed, (where one person was there under two names, or had the wrong club against their name etc.) and I have fixed all that I have found.  Fortunately there is no difference to any of the winners but a couple of the leader boards have changed.

BBQ this Saturday 20th August 2016 for NHL players & Australian Country players

From HAW – let’s get in and help out as a club!
Subject: BBQ this Saturday 20th August 2016 for NHL players & Australian Country players

To all clubs

This year HAW have 4 players who have made the squad for NHL, and have been training each week.  They have a 2 day camp at the end of the month when the teams will be announced.

Also HAW have 3 players who have been selected in the Australian Country Championships going away early next year.

So on Saturday, when our Strikers have their last home game for the season, there will be a BBQ and a raffle from 9am to 3pm at the Hockey grounds to raise money to go towards expenses for these players.  The raffle will be drawn at half time in the Strikers match.

All profits from the BBQ will be equally divided amongst these players.

Gay Harvey from Norths will supervise setting up and overseeing the running of the day.

Club assistance (particularly those clubs with affected players) with the cooking throughout the day and/or donations of sausages, bread, rolls, bacon or eggs, cakes, slices or cupcakes would be greatly appreciated.  If you could please contact Gay on 0409 812 766 to let her know when you can assist and what you can contribute.
