In the hardest fought and longest match of the finals, the Masters Women came away with the premiership cup. Here is the match report from Sharyn Tolley:

It was a historic Vets Grandfinal tonight – for the first time ever we played extra time and then went into wobble offs to decide the victors.
We fielded a full side of SOBER players but Falcons were out to win from the outset. At half time the outcome was looking dire with a 0-2 to Falcons score on the board. They scored one more after half time when we came out firing and leveled the score thanks to Ange McDonaldCatherine Fisher & Sherren Latta by full time.
After 20 minutes of extra time with no goal scored, we nominated five players for the wobble off. Strezlecki was ordered out of our goals and replaced by Sherren who also scored our 4th goal in the first contest. Belinda Burke scored our second and Sherren successfully defended all Falcon’s attempts.
